Display IDNs on Firefox

Disappointingly IDNs in .com and .net are still blacklisted in Firefox 3.

To enable IDNs (.com and .net – and any other extension you want) to display properly all you need to do is enter 2 simply lines.

1. First type in about:config in your address bar.
2. Left click > New > Boolean
3. For the preference name type on:
network.IDN.whitelist.com
network.IDN.whitelist.net
network.IDN.whitelist.TLD (replace TLD with what ever extentision you wish to display the URL as an IDN instead of punycode)
4. Enter boolean value: True

And then you have it, IDNs displaying (as they should be by default) in Firefox. Easy!
